Glock SF stands for Short Frame, not slim frame. It is a bit less reach for the trigger finger due to the back strap. The frame is not slimmer.

Re: Handgun Class
Don't come here much anymore, but saw this thread. Best advice regarding a 40 is buy a 9mm. There is a reason the FBI and many departments are going back to the 9. There is very little difference in terminal ballistics between the two with modern bullets. The 9mm is generally easy to shoot with ...

Grizzly Kills Hiker
When will people learn that it ain't Disneyland out there. Wildlife is wild, dangerous and unpredictable. Too many so called "experts" claim they can read the bear's attitude, so they can photograph, study, get close, live with them etc--and many become part of the food chain. http://www.adn.com ...

Re: Telluride
Great report. We enjoy the Ouray area. Have been wheeling those trails for years. On one of our trips up to the Imogene pass, we encountered a wicked storm that was washing out the trail as we climbed. Visibility got down to less than 10 feet. Here is a picture of the sign taken from inside the FJ ...

I always enjoy your trip reports. Looks like a great time. Do you ever fish between Havasu and Parker? I sure do see many folks fishing there. Seems they had a recent bass competition.

Nice Woody
After checking some trails off the 74, Ortega Highway, I hit the Coast Highway. As I was cruising along, what did I see, but a big old Woody pointing at me. :D Seems they had a Woody car show along the Beach. It was quite a treat to see these vehicles and all the work that the owners have put into ...

Coyote/ Fonts
Took the wife, daughter and grandson for an easy ride out to Coyote and Fonts point. We had lunch in Coyote canyon. The third crossing had water, though they have diverted the road. The rocky section was as easy as I remember. I was trying out a new camera, so I hope the pictures are not too bad ...

I am thinking of taking a family run to AB. With any luck, the wildflowers will be in bloom. I hope by going on Friday to miss the crowds. I am thinking of Coyote canyon and maybe Fonts point. Looking to do some easy trails with the family. My Grandson enjoys off roading. We will probably have lunch ...
