I am glad I had the chance to camp there. Thanks again, Dave, for organizing that trip. However I am certain there are many more sites in the forest that haven't been affected. Now we just have to go out and find them. Sounds like an outdoor adventure to me.

Just looked at the updated map. Looks like the fire has made a run east along the ridge. Hard to tell on my phone,but it doesn't look good

I am currently on the 395 east of the fire, and smoke is very heavy. I would post a photo, but can't seem to from Tapatalk.

Dave, what time will you leave to get to Sanger by 9? TopoUSA puts travel time from Fontana at about 4.25 hours to Visalia on the 5/99. I may get a headstart on Wed evening to get out of LA, if I can.
