My family are members of PARC. We use their repeaters more than all other repeaters. With my roof-mounted base antenna I can hit Keller Peak well, but I'm usually in the mobile or using an HT, otherwise I probably would join KPRA.

So is it linked all the time, or is it only linked for the net? I can hit 449.300 with my HT from my house, and will likely try using it for this week's net with Doug being net control.

I am on the fence. I think most people who can get into Palomar can get into Keller directly. And Palomar is a busy repeater. I'm never on Otay but because it is farther south I would think it would give access to more folks than Palomar would. That's not true. With my HT, I can hit most of the ...
