I put in my leave request for April 22-29 so I can take a leisurely 2 days to get there and back. The Springfest should make for a good shakedown trip for the new rear rack and EFI system. I'm looking forward to the trip.

Dave,
Is the 23rd a travel day from Torrance to St. George or all the way thru to our first camp in the Parashant?
Dates listed are 23-28th but back by 30th. Are the 29th and 30 travel days home?

Nothing is absolutely firm yet. I would like to be in camp on the rim on Thursday the 23rd. It'll be a long drive but I did it last time and it can be done with some careful planning. I believe that it is time for all of us to meet, via a Skype conference call, sometime next week to discuss this and some other plans. I will propose an itinerary of places to visit, Bob can propose meal assignments and we can discuss our collective gear needs.

If we are not coming back until the 30th I wouldn't have any problem making it to the 31st and then connecting with the next weekend which would give us a few more days at Parashant. I'm planning on taking two days to drive home anyway. I just need to request enough time off from work.

hey dave, bad news i have to opt out on the trip. I need to find a job quick, after i reitre, I thought I would be able to afford it but money is tight.maybe next time, thanks bro.
