Yeah but, I think it would be important to have the "6" designator for a club based in "6-land". The K6AOA or N6AOA would work, athough it's still a distortion of the club or website initials like the couple I mentioned up the thread. The XXADV callsigns would've been cool except for the missing "6".

Did you see all the *OAU calls?

I like K6OAU "Oscar Alpha United"

Kind of a tongue twister if you say it fast phonetically.

No I didn't, but I'm glad someone is. It would be nice to see this changed before Field Day.....there is time to get it done.

Better late than never, I guess....

I'll be glad never to have to call out Kilo-India-Six-Zulu-Quebec-Lima again...after Field Day it took me 2 days to untwist my tongue :lol:
