Greetings:

I am in the process of finalizing the details for the trip. I will be posting a trip itinerary in a few weeks. As I mentioned earlier, our timing for the trip will be the last week of April and the first week of May. Approximately April 23 through May 8. To the extent possible, I want to keep some degree of flexibility so that we can adjust things if there is a particularly bad weather situation.

Please use this thread to sign up. If you have any questions before you sign up, especially regarding costs, please pm me or post up here.

Please note, at this point, that we will be imposing an 7 vehicle maximum for this trip.

Couple of notes:

1. We will be doing all meals as a group. Start thinking about your best recipes now.

2. We will be having several conference call meetings to organize and plan. I have found that the best way for us to do this is with Skype. If you have not loaded the Skype program onto your computer yet, you will want to do so soon. The download is free and all calls you make to other Skype users are also free. It does require a high speed internet connection (DSL works) - no dial up.

3. We will begin discussing all equipment needs and other planning, following the last sign-up. Separate threads will be used for these purposes.

Please Note: We may face a limit on the number of people allowed on the trip, based on BLM rules. Exceeding this limit, possibly, may subject us to a permit requirement and make the trip unlikely. I am waiting to hear if this is true. If you wish to sign up please specify the total number in your party.
