Anza Borrego January 15-16

Edit: I'll be joining the guys for the Corral Canyon Run. Anza is off.

The weather is predicted to be spectacular this weekend in Borrego Springs. Lows in the mid 40's at night and 70's to 80's during the day. Even Julian will be in the 40's at night. So I am heading out to Anza Borrego Saturday about 2:00pm-ish from Orange County. No definite itinerary, probably run up Coyote and sleep in Sheep or who knows maybe we'll go out to Pinyon Mtn. Eating well will be a big priority... My cell is 949 235-1494 if anyone is heading out that way.

I too wish I could join you but we'll be up in OC this weekend. I'm planning on heading out to AB later this month but it's just going to be a day run.

If interested, on Sunday we won't be too far away from you. I'll be running some trails just off Interstate 8 near the southern most part of Anza-Borrego. I don't think it would be too far out of the way for you to meet up with us if you wanted.

Hope you're planning on getting in the water, a little west swell is picking up. Blackie's should be good this afternoon if the wind stay's off it, I plan on taking a very long lunch today. Let me know about that day run out to ABDSP, I will try to make it.

If this forecast holds, it could get very interesting. I know it's a ways out there and a bit north but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and doing the surf dance.

I'll be out in AB, Saturday 1/28. There's a bunch of folks from SoCal FJs heading out for the weekend but I've only got time for the day.

If I hadn't already made plans to join John on his weekend camp out I'd join you. We're running a bunch of different trails south of the I-8. If you can't get any company you should try to come join us. I think you'd really enjoy it. It would be a change of scenery for you.
