Bass Pro Shops Meet & Greet and Test Session (Mar 19, 2011)

I had a great time looking at the rigs and meeting everyone. We dodged the rain. I left early in the afternoon, and I understand that 18 people had taken tests. Here are a few photos.

We would like to thank everyone for making this a very successful event. It was a great time and the weather turned out to be perfect. The last of us left Bass Pro Shop around 7:30 pm. I just got home. I'll process some pictures and get them posted tomorrow. I believe we had 19 people take tests and 18 passed. Those are great numbers. There was some amazing rigs that showed up and the people were even better. We are part of a great community.

It was a great turnout. I was a little anti-social at first.. studying for a license test. I just wanted to thank everyone from OAUSA again for setting this up, and thanks to the VEs (Hector, Dave, Larry, and Ollie) for volunteering your Saturday morning/afternoon to help up new HAMs get out licenses! Great Job!

We had a great time hanging out with everyone on Saturday. It really helped seeing everyones rig up close so that I can start working on my new rig with new ideas to execute.
I can't wait for the next get together.
