Outerlimits

Post by aw12345 » Sun Apr 24, 2011 8:16 pm

Ran Outerlimits after Claw Hammer yesterday with a few friends, had a jolly good time especially since my Jeep has no powersteering to the right.
15 point turns in the rocks and some very sore arm got er done. Had a ball Outerlimits was so much harder than 4 months ago, at times there was no trail to be found just a jumble of big boulders with almost no possible line through it

Very cool. I haven't seen a rig like your buddies. Rear engine? Did he build that or is it out of the box that way?

The buggy was originally built in Georgia, it has a Honda Civic front wheel drive engine that is mounted sideways with the diff welded, it sits right behind the seats. It has hybrid Dana 44 axles with Dana 60 outer ends and sports 37" red label Krawlers. Another buddy modified the suspension some so it stays together and flexes better. These days the little Bulldog makes an awesome little buggy. Still smashed the oilpan on Outerlimits though
