Here are some pictures from today's run. We spent quite a bit of time around the south end of S2, and just decided to head home on hwy 8 and save Rodriguez Canyon for another day.

Great post Eric, love the pictures thanks. BTW, how warm did it get out there today?

Too cool, Eric! There're a few other trails around there that I've been meaning to check out. In fact, we may get a chance to do that tomorrow. Happen to see any trains running?

Thanks guys. It wasn't hot at all, maybe mid 80s and very little dust. Almost perfect conditions.

No trains running. Are they still using those tracks?

That looks like a great run. I have wanted to do Dos Cabezas for quite a while. I don't know if knowing you were going would have persuaded me to tag along, but maybe. I just relaxed for most of the day which is what I really needed. I really like the pics with the heavily clouded skies. Can't wait to do some colder season runs.

My pictures were pretty lame compared to Eric's. Weatherwise, it was just about perfect - a little windy, but not bad. Due to a little mechanical malady, we had to cut the day short. I definitely want to get back out in that area again this season.

Ollie and I just got back from there. The weather was perfect. I'll post up more on it when I get everything uploaded. But here's the route from the satellite tracking us all day-
