Looking forward to it. Are we going to be camping in Palm Canyon? All 5 group sites are currently available to reserve for Oct. 23-25th. FYI Today and yesterday I went wheeling and horseback riding on a 7000 acre private ranch private ranch in Baja Mexico. Hard to explain how beautiful it is here.

Awesome Scott. Wouldn't be the same without you.
Not sure on the camping yet. Sounds like you're having a great time. I'm envious... Take a lot of pictures.

We should see about reserving those spaces as soon as possible if we are staying at the Palm Canyon campground this year.

I'm not sure how the California money crisis will affect Anza Borrego, but I do seem to recall that there was some talk of closing the park. Two things come to mind:
1. what do we do if we pay for all of the sites and the park gets the temporary ax? Can we just give them a small deposit now so that we will be able to cut our losses later if the worst happens?
2. Should we consider an alternate site in the park?

Dave,
These are some of the things we still need to discuss. I know of another site that would be free but there aren't showers and restrooms. We just need to think this out a little bit and come to a decision within the next few weks.
