ssc wrote:I am going to try to make it. What time is everyone to arrive? I, like Hawkeye only have a CB. I also know for a fact, that whoever is parked next to me will look good! :D

So Larry, if I show up and take the ham test--and pass it, are you going to install my new ham radio there in the parking lot? Maybe a few lights while you are at it?

Regards, Steve AKA SSC
Steve - People will start arriving at 9 am, although some of us will be there at 8 am to set up...

If you pass your ham test, I'll gladly install your handheld radio into your cupholder, and your flashlight into your glovebox...because that's just the kind of giving person I am... :o

Seriously, if you need a study guide, we have the Gordon West Tech book at Dirty Parts - they are $18 to forum members, and I can ship one out to you so you can prepare for 10/10.... ;)

I've been using that book and it's great! I passed the online tests a few times but I can already feel the math ones leaking from my head. :(

I'm not going to be able to make it. I didn't get much work done on the Pinzgauer last weekend. It probably won't be ready for the Mogfest either but I should have it back up and ready to go for Panamint Valley Days. Such is life when you have an exotic 37 year old rig.

Bruce - sorry you won't be able to make it...looks like we are going to have a good turn out, and I'm sure the Pinz would be the star of the show :D

Bruce:

if you can't make it, can you flatbed the Pinz to BPS?
