I know, I know - just I've never heard of a sleeping bag that heavy, and wondered what the advantage to having a heavier bag might be....I guess it's all about the comfort factor, which I am a big fan of

...
...of course, if it's that nice, I might oversleep and miss breakfast

Well... then you won't need to carry as much food which will save weight and balance it all out.

Yes, but can you beat sleeping in a Tauntaun?
(Even if it is probably made in China)

Probably not recommended for extreme adventure use.
