The Procomp A/Ts are quieter and tend to last longer on the highway, but are not as aggressive looking as the BFG A/T. Also, the dealer network is smaller (as you've noticed). The BFGs are better known, work very well, and are easier to find. So, while I personally feel the PC AT is a better performing tire on the street, and about equal off-road, and I'd love the business ( ), I would probably still recommend the BFG A/Ts for your situation.

Now, if you want a more aggressive tire that works well on the highway, the ProComp Xtreme AT has no BFG equivalent, and is more expensive...so it boils down to what you want from the tire... 8-)

We'll see how business goes for me over the next couple months. If it goes well I'll send you a PM for a quote on those ProComp Xtreme ATs and the Hella 4" HIDs I've been eyeballing. :D

Great - same size tire I have - just the wrong bolt pattern. But we can change rims if needed!

I've got Toyo MT 315/75 16" on the stock Toyota LC rims.

I'm in the market for replacements before the trip, these are getting a bit worn. I'd like the same diameter perhaps a bit narrower.
