Yes you can. The thing you will want to do for safety sake is to still put the pressure switch inline though. That way you prevent burning up your pump motor from dead heading and compressor stall. A check valve (already built into the braided hoses off of you compressors) and the pressure switch are the key elements in protecting your compressors.salad_man wrote:OLLIE wrote:Nice set up and ideas.
There is something to consider with compressor systems. Why do you guys want air tanks? Unless you are installing an air horn set up they are pretty much useless. You need to run nearly a ten gallon tank to provide any efficiency for air tools. CO2 is smarter to use for air tools in that regard. It would save you pain and heartache to just ignore the tanks. As long as your system is tight, just coming off your compressor for the lockers will work fine. The line to the locker will hold plenty of volume for their function. Just a thought...
Can I just run the Viair compressors to an air chuck that clips onto the tire Ollie?
Give me a few hours, maybe less, and I'll draw a schematic, based on your install, without a tank incorporated with all the components you should have.
