StevetheKorean and I might show up. How do you think my stocker will hold up? What exactly is HALF DAY, noon half day, or 12 hours later half day.

Also, John (Borrego) do you have any insight on the use of Tannerite here? I know Chazz poked in on it, but I am having quite a time finding legal use of this stuff here in CA. When I first heard of it I thought there was no way it was legal, as well as a major fire hazard in the desert. After some reasearch, it seem the later is not really as issue if used as directed and it is sold at Cross Roads (which really dont mean much). However, it don't seem to be quite the grey area of use and possesion as say a "fixed mag" AR-15 which can be built from parts sold at almost any small arms shop.

"To eastern Oregon, Southern CA, north and eastern WA: 2-4 days" From TANNERITE.COM in regard to shipping... So it IS legal on "this side of the river" I can't find any conformation about useing it on BLM though. I know I have never seen, heard, or found signs of it in Yuha were I do a lot of shooting though.

Sorry for the hijack too... Anyway, yeah I am going to try and make it Sat. We talked about this run at Summer Fest, and these are some places I have been wanting to explore for a long time.

Possession is legal. However, use of "explosive" targets is banned on public lands (and in some cases, private lands too). Reality is that used properly, it isn't any more dangerous than target shooting around a campfire.

FYI - 2 half-pounders lined up make a bigger boom than 1 one-pounder.

Awesome! You're stocker should do just fine. If not, we'll just let it become the lost FJ of the desert!

I haven't heard that much on it. Until I knew for sure, I wouldn't risk getting caught using it as targets.

Hi John, I'm headed in the same direction but I'll head north from Ocotillo to check out Canyon Si Nombre and try to get into Fish Creek from there. Should be a nice weekend.

Oh yeah, it should be really nice out there this weekend! When you're out there, you can try hitting us up on the radios if you want. (Comm info is on the first page here.)

BTW, for those coming along, does everyone have onboard air or a way to air up afterwards? I won't be able to have my tank filled before I head out tomorrow. I should be able to run the route on street pressure, though.

Can't wait! :D :D :D
