Thanks! Well, my wife is actually around 4 1/2 months along. We'll know the gender for sure in about two weeks, but she did take an early gender detection test at 12 weeks and it came out 'boy'. So I'll be seeing how accurate it was real soon! :D
Congratulations!!! My wife is also "with child". She is 6 months along and we already know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is a boy. Ultrasound tech said he was "showing off the goods". This will be our 3rd child and 2nd boy, with the sister sandwiched in the middle.

I understand about wives not being all that excited about going outdoors. My wife got her girl scout's camping badge at the Hilton across from John Wayne airport. This is The OC you know! I almost had her out for Borego Fest but she felt best to sit this one out at 6 mos prego. I will be bringing my 4 1/2 yr old son. I'm not quite ready to take my two year old daughter out and camp yet. After all she is 2 and is enjoying taking advantage of the terrible 2's. Her deal is she just gets into EVERYTHING. Can't turn your back for half a second. LOL Loves to play in the dirt though and get dirty.

Congrats on number 3!

My middle daughter is a month from 5 and the youngest just turned 2. They will be at BorregoFest so there'll be playmates for yours. ;)

I would put a list of destinations with pictures and drving times. Let them pick a destination that they are willing to make the drive for. If they don't like the places on your list keep picthing new ideas. Im sure you could just find some trip writups on the various off road forums.
