Welcome! You're in.
Thanks Dave!
If you need anything let me know.

Well.............now that you mention it..........how does wine director strike you?
OK, But
Do you want a glasses of wine every night or do you want a tasting like last time?
Personally I think that one or two glasses of wine to complement the dinner and desert would be best.

I'd say match the wine to the dinner. Tasting is better enjoyed in a more permanent-like camp.

I could live with either (or both). Maybe some feedback would help. I know that Bob, Tom and I are all planning on bringing several bottles, so we should have a pretty wide selection. Since I haven't made the purchases yet, I'll take your direction on what to buy.

We haven't had much of a response as to what meals everyone would be
providing on the trip. So after some discussion with Dave, we decided to
a few modifications to the meal assignments. We have input from Tom, Hector,
Dave and myself so far. we will go over the meal issue at the meet and greet
The above named will be providing the dinner meals and the other meals will
be divided between the others. BUT we would like to have a menu of what
you will be providing. That way we can spread out the days you cook and not
have pancakes three days in a row.
I will revise the cooking order after getting input and re-assign the daily list
before the M & G that way we can firm up any problem areas someone may
have with thier meal assignment.
Post your menu items prior to the meeting, we need just Breakfast and
Lunch items from those whom have not responded so far.

I'll provide scrambled eggs and diced ham for breakfast #1, pancakes w/ apple sausage for breakfast #2, and breakfast #3 will be breakfast burritos (scrambled eggs w/potatoes/onions/peppers/cheese). Coffee/OJ as desired. Oatmeal and aspirin will be available for unexpected issues following excessive wine tasting.
Lunch #1 & #2 will be honey-baked ham sandwiches with Jack Daniels mustard w/ veggie selection. Lunch #3 will be cold cuts, water crackers, veggies, and cheese plate.
The menu may be augmented if we hit any good grocery stores after the mid-point.
My respects to Dave, Bob, Tom, and Hector for stepping up for dinner. I'm not a cook (officially certified) so this may actually save a life. I do expect to chip in for the dinners as they tend to be more expensive than the lunches and dinners. While I can't cook, I very good at washing dishes
**Edited to reflect new meal schedule**

Everyone needs to review the first post as the meal assignments have been revised
Hopefully this will be the only revision that has to be made, By the meet and greet
we should have a solid head count on the number of people going. we can massage
the assignments at that time if required
Any questions, comments feel free to submit them, constructive criticism is
always welcome.

I made an attempt to E-Mail the meal assignment list to everyone, but
I think it got swallowed up in ciber space. So I will try to send it as an
attachment.
I didn't assign what meals we would have per day, I thought if we left
it up to the individual that was scheduled for that day. It would permit
some flexibility depending on thats days event schedule
As in the past suggestions or ideas are always welcome if someone has
a problem feel free to comment.
