Beating back the jungle:

The gate was locked... but we walked down anyway to see the grounds:

So we walked...

and walked...

but it was worth it:

As we turned onto the Peninsula the roads became more interesting...

But there was a bit of traffic:

At the end of the road waiting for the boat launch:

La Paloma was the first of two Eco Lodges on the Peninsula de Osa:

We decided to walk back to the bikes rather than the launch. Because it was raining rather hard the lodge loaned us some very photogenic umbrellas:
