BTW, will all the meet and greets be held at this location? It would be nice to move it around to be fair for everyone as far as driving distance goes.
Initially they will be held at Ricky & Ronnie's. As time progresses that may change. I think I'm travelling from the furthest south.

Boy, isn't that the truth...

Now, thanks to all the traffic, I have plenty of time to realize how much each drive costs... :o

But, then again, I realize this is the wrong hobby to be in for fuel economy - so I'll be at the Meet N' Greet despite the cost of fuel - I'm looking forward to seeing many of my on-line "friends" face to face again...

My wife gives me the update each day when i get home about how much gas increased from one day to the next. I'll bet our grandparents complained about gas as much as we are now when the price raised from $.25 to $.30 too. Thems the breaks and I love my hobby. To Larry's point, we either change our hobby or pay for the gas. I'll vote for paying for the gas. I can't take the $$$ with me in the end so I might as well spend it while I'm here...

Watch it there young buck. This 47 year old bought gas for his lawnmower when I was kid at about $.30 a gallon and I ain't your grandfather.

The price increases we're seeing here are unprecedented and these prices are going to have a huge effect on our economic recovery. The price of gas has doubled in four years.

This sounds like fun,

I will plan on being there. I can offer up the use of our repeater for talk in. It will cover in order of coverage Los Angeles, North Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties it is normally linked on the WALA Network via IRLP but we can adjust as needed.

145.440 - 136.5 be sure to put in a decode frequency of 136.5 to help with co-channel interference for those of you coming from the south end of the state.
