Ollie called today and requested that he and his son be added to the roster. Done!
Ollie, you also get to assume the task of tail-gunner. Thanks!

Hey Dave/everyone,
Ollie told me about you guys over on the Expo forum - if you've got room for a newbie to come along, me and my girlfriend would love to bring our new Discovery out for the run!
Thanks,
Todd

BTW - if you haven't run Rodriguez or Oriflame lately, they are nothing more than graded dirt roads anymore. Fire crews after all the recent fires in the area have really graded especially Rodriguez heavily. the little rock gardens near the bottom of Rodriguez are gone. The one challenging one is now a dirt road and the bypass to the left (going uphill) is blocked by large boulders now. Even dropping down the last shelf road on Oriflame that used to have at least some fun little drops over rock ruts is now much smoother than it used to be.
I know this run isn't about the challenge of the roads, it's about the exploration of the mines and history thereof! Just wanted to let you know about the easy road conditions. We ran this last month at a SoCal80's Meet & Greet outing.
