KK6CTT for the on-line check-in please. Thank you!

I am a big supporter of the 2A discussion and I believe marksmanship as well as understanding the history behind our 2A, God given right, is captured in the training that is part of Project Appleseed. If you have not had the opportunity to shoot standing, kneeling, sitting and prone under timed constraints, as well as reload and transitions you have short-changed the true test of your rifle shooting abilities. "The emphasis of the project's two days was history, starting with Paul Revere, the Minutemen and the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775, and going through the history of the War for Independence." It is a great course and one that you can find for .22 LR shooters and black gun enthusiasts as well.

With the successful completion of the course and a qualifying score you can qualify for the coveted Rifleman Patch.

Another up and coming course of fire presented by the NRA is the American Rifle Challenge and the American Rifle Match. These two events are focused around the "black gun" enthusiasts desire to become more familiar and capable with the American Rifle or AR platform. The Challenge is focused on giving the individual shooter the skills necessary to compete in the AR Match. The AR Match is just that, a competition to see who is more tactically inclined and more familiar with the AR platform.

And don't forget programs like Eddie Eagle and Refuse to be a Victim.

It isn't always about the shooting. The NRA has the Eddie Eagle program and Refuse to be a Victim in case you have those who are adverse to the shooting sports but want to give safety a chance.

Shooting Sports Fair in Corona - June 1-2-3, 2018

The annual Shooting Sports Fair is coming back to Raahaugues in Corona this coming weekend, June 1-2-3, 2018.
There will be a lot of guns to view and shoot, as well as industry booths like Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the National Rifle Association.

RMEF alone will be holding a drawing for as many as 7 rifles (number depends on drawing ticket sales). I'm sure NRA will have a drawing going too.
