HAM Radio testing went well with two new hams passing their tests very handily.
We participated in the California QSO Party with an aim to get California on the air. I logged sixty contact from across the nation and several Canadian Provinces all on a piece of wire and veeeerrryy casual operating.

I tried to load some pics, but for some reason they wouldn't load...so I'll try again later..
I had a great time at BorregoFest this year, as has always been the case.
The Stagecoach RV Resort was a fantastic base camp, and also provided us with a great ham radio shack out in the desert for the CA QSO Party contest.
Of course, the food was amazing, and Linda put on a spectacular wine tasting for all of the attendees.
It was nice to get away from real life again for a few days, and to spend that time with a group of folks that make the time so enjoyable to me.
Thanks to everyone attending OAUSA 2018 BorregoFest, and I'm already looking forward to next year's event !!!
