I am signed up as I have a 1979 Toyota Troop Carrier that I intend to bring, but it is in the shop and I am not sure if it will be ready for this trip. If not, I intend to bring my motor home. It is 28 feet. i know there are no hookups, it can last 3 days, but can the park accommodate a 28' Motor home? Also, if I can, I might like to come up on Thursday after work. Will that be possible? I'm sorry, but they draw the line at 21 feet. I'm not sure if this helps, but any 2 wheel drive vehicle can make it to camp (all the roads to (and in) camp are paved.)
Arriving at the camp on Thursday may be fine, but you should make reservations, just in case (I don't think you will have a problem.)

IMPORTANT REQUEST
I am putting this request in a couple of spots on the Borrego Fest threads, just to make sure that we are covered.
The Dutch Oven Potluck looks like it is going to be huge. For those who can, we will need tables for dinner seating. and probably for your group meal seating. AND, be sure and bring your chairs.

Life is happening. I had planned to be on my first outing with OA this weekend, but a combination of my daughter having a baby, their first and my second granddaughter. She has decided to be a week late so far, with no new date in sight. And then my sister is at the end of her life, in a care facility in Rifle, CO, so when I can, I will be making the drive there to see her. If it works out, I will be there Saturday, but otherwise, count me in for the next outing. I have a Dutch oven pozole to experiment with and provide. Enjoy - John Kitchens, NS6X

IMPORTANT NOTICE
We just learned today (Wednesday, 10/3/19) that the park service failed to get their shipment of propane (or some other lame excuse) and as a result, there was no hot water in the showers. So if you are interested in showers there are just a few options:
- take a cold shower at the camp shower room
- wait until you get home to shower.
So sorry about that!!!
