I am using an app in the shack called XASTIR, so I can print screen the info, but this can be done in the interface of your APRS radio, while out on the trail.

APRS SMS
use SMSGTE in the CALL box, @phone# message in the message box
I sent a txt to my phone, and reply'd from my phone, which came back to APRS.

APRS EMAIL
use EMAIL-2 in the CALL box, addr@email.com message in the message box.
No email REPLY accepted back to the source..although there is a way, using FINDU and logging in.

pics attached.

Note, I misspelled Daves Callsign and got immediate FAILED message on my msg-send screen.

APRS with gps in mobile
Kenwood D710 hooked to G350 GPS for "2 way" data transfer.
In other words, the APRS ham stations that the radio hears, are placed on the screen of the GPS.
This allows the use of "go-to" as if it were a regular location..like HRO.. :-)

Lots more on my QRZ page by the way..

I disconnected briefly, because of the "Jammer" "playing reveille or whatever, and I'll say that if it continues in following nets, that I'll be filing a complaint or observation with the FCC, because I won't put up with it, as I had a jammer one time, who was throwing dead carriers here, interfering with my transmissions, and then, since it was going out over my link, I'd be disconnected from the conference by someone who had conference administration privileges, so I needed to file a complaint with the FCC. So I have two choices, either record the "interference" on the net, and file a complaint with the FCC or not connect to the net until the problem has been taken care of, as I won't put up with that "bologna." I disconnected again because the interference was again coming through on 3216, covering up the NCS. Have a great weekend and 73.
