Product Spotlight
These ammo crates are great low cost boxes. They will never replace the super nice Zarges Boxes but for a budget friendly good box they are ideal.

There is a great stop in Rancho Cucamonga, The Cucamonga Service Station. It was built in 1915 and served travelers until 1971. It is now restored and a Route 66 Museum and a Registered National Historic Place. I ran a special Route 66 on the Air operation from there for a few years.
There is also an original piece of Route 66 at the Route 66 Trailhead Park in Rancho Cucamonga.

Great Restaurant on Route 66 In Helendale, CA - Molly Brown's Country Cafe
On Route 66 (also known as the National Trails Highway), about halfway between Victorville and Barstow, is the Molly Brown's Country Café. The area where the restaurant is located, is very rural and there are very few businesses, making it standout, if not for it's uniqueness, but for it's great food. As out of the way as the restaurant is, it is surprisingly crowded, especially on holidays and weekends, but well worth the visit.
