That one Garmin almost looks like the $99.00 Magellan GPS that I've had for many years...just a B&W one, and it had routes, and compass, and a few basic things, but no extras.

USGS Topo maps are available in downloadable PDF here. Store or print as you need, however I’ve never had an inkjet-printed map come out very clear unless I used high quality photo paper as the ink seems to slightly bleed on regular paper.
