Ive never shot a bird, but id love to try it for the sport. Are those baby's good eatin? Taste like chicken? :mrgreen:

Hey Dave:

Well...............not exactly like chicken. Actually, they don't taste a thing like chicken. It is a very unique flavor and a lot of the taste depends on the baste, the marinade or the dip. Prepared correctly, very tasty.

If you like sport shooting, dove can supply a challenge. Nothing like quail hunting though, but very exciting.

My kids would eat a bucked full of dove and cottton tail rabit. Five rabbits and 10 doves covered with powdered union soup in the crockpot . :D :D
