You mean once a month????

Well, for some of us we're trying to be there at least once a week.....working on a couple times a week. (Embarrassing SMIRK)
Anyhow, don't forget Ollie, we got the Echolink fully operational on FCARA 146.610 / 445.760. Last week was a flawless trial run on Echolink and it was really great!!! I am going to attempt to go up the hill this week to finish what I started, which was programming the controller. So anyone in the Orange County area, if you listen into the net and are able to hear the FCARA repeater without struggle, we will start carrying the OAUSA nets again right after our net at 7PM, We'll bring the link up a few minutes before the net (about 7:25 or so) so you can check your signal.

Mark:
will the echolink connection still have a lag, and if so, how much?

Echolink will always have some sort of lag to it. That's why they call it Echooooooo-link
Actually it sounded great last week. Very little delay then. I should expect the same for the net as well.

This is a great forum.
Even a tree-hugging*, bike riding, backpacking, scuba diving, dutch oven cooking, Scout leader such as myself is welcome!
*I am not now, nor will ever be, however, a member of the Sierra Club.

Well Eubi this is a great forum, I love all the sports you mentioned above sans "tree hugging".

I am also not a fervent supporter of the Sierra Club but lately have found myself siding with them in several land disputes. #1 being the intention of the TCA to extend the Foothill toll road south
through San Mateo Campground effectively destroying it and connecting to the 5 freeway. I'm going to step off the soap box before I get shoved, but you get my drift. By the way do you own an off road vehicle at all?
