Mojave Road Adventure: Jan 9-11th 2009

Lets plan the early 2008 Mojave Preserve run here. This is not a sanctioned event. Just some freinds meeting on the Mojave Road.

Well, we'll take plenty of pics for ya. I'm sure we'll have plenty of other local runs here to get together soon.

I really wanted to make this trip but work commitments prevent me from taking any leave for most of January.

I hope to make it to the Springfest where ever that may be.

Death Valley anyone?

I'll have to look into the possibility of joining you. I've never run Mojave and want to. Weekend itself has no conflicts right now.

Im down, but im not driving across any lakebed. Can we organize a route for those bypassing the lakebed?

Ill be in my Expedition so i can roll out my air matress in the back :)

Ill be in my Pathfinder if the lady says no to the Expedition.

If the lakebed seems too muddy we'll follow a road north along the east side of the lake to Baker, then head west on I-15 then south on Rasor Road back to Mojave Road. However, I'd rather only do that as a last resort, as I want to drive the entire trail and not miss the Traveler's Monument. We'll see how to plays out.
