There are many articles and research about this Portable Fridge/Freezers. I think it was one of the great invention on this generation. I hope I can see this Portable Fridge/Freezers personally.

To see the ARB FReezer-Fridge, just stop by Dirty Parts in Los Angeles.

Or join us in Anza Borrego in October for BorregoFest - you'll see a lot of 'em, different brands and sizes, up close and personal...

And I agree with you - one of the greatest pieces of off-road equipment available today. I give up many other things before I'd give up my ARB Freezer-Fridge

Welcome aboard OAUSA !!!

Nice write up. I was surprised to see how little amps the electric units pull. I have an old ammonia fridge freezer in my camper. Its works great! It will run on a tank of propane for at least a month. the flame is similar to a large pilot light and it pulls 0.05a to keep the gas solenoid open. It doesn't work well if you are using it for beers and dipping in every 10 minutes, so we pull some ice out of the freezer and set a cooler by camp for drinking nights. It would be very difficult to mount in a regular size vehicle with all the coils and vents needed.
