Very impressive crawler you're building....looking forward to seeing it in action !!!

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear really bright, until they start talking

Thanks guys, cannot wait to take it down to Johnson Valley
Well dedicate a ton of your free time and a bunch of money and you can have one lol.
It has been a lot of fun building this thing, but it's nice to see light at the end of the tunnel

Latest greatest update
Had a blast, other than the powersteering pulley being out of alignment and peeling a bit of the belt of it worked like a charm. we had a ball blasting through the trail, got to love them big tires in the dirt.
Could use an afterburner on the street, but the gearing for the trails is just about perfect

You need to get that thing out to Johnson Valley or Calico and give it the trial there.

Has been awhile some things got improved a bit got tired of bending the tierod so redid the steering worked out pretty well so far

Since it's a battle to figure out where your right front tire hangs out when you try to place it on a rock I tried to do something about it.
Seems to work pretty well got that put together yesterday

Tried it out today, we did a quicky Cleghorn both ways, 2n17x and Dishpan made for a nice afternoon in the mountains.

Found this the other day is what the Jeep looked like before it got totaled and I got it

Isn't that Jim's old TJ? The one he flopped on the freeway after his Cleghorn run one night?
