Ollie,

I`m curious were you running your grinder off that plug in the back of the FJ? I haven`t tried to run anything on that plug yet . BoBo my kit isn`t much bigger , tow strap, tire repair kit, first aid kit, and 2 small air compressors. thats it.

Great trip guys, I was suppose to be down in AB that weekend too but the plans kind fell apart Thursday night, o well next time. Frog your exhaust looks just like Ollie from Ouray. lol

Looks like you guys had a great trip though, some very nice pictures.
I wish it wasn't such a drive for me to get down your way so I could do all the trails down there.

I have tampons (we refer to them as feminine hygeine products) in my Bug-Out-Bag. Besides the obvious use if my wife is with me (like that's ever going to happen  ) they can come in handy for other uses. The disaster kit I purchase to fill my bag with automatically comes with the hygeine products and toilet paper.

Yes sir... Have someone set in your truck and keep the engine RPM to around 2500 to 3000 RPMs. Then when you are using the grinder just be easy on how hard you push the grinder/cutt-off wheel into the material. If you trip the inverter just turn off the truck and restart it; that resets your inverter's breaker. I'm thinking about installing a heavier duty inverter under the hood for this sort of thing and putting a 120V plug with sealing cover in the grill. :D

Ive ran a sawzall off the rear plug and never needed to turn the rig off after it tripped, just push the switch button and it works again.

There are to power settings for the inverter; 100W and 400W. It will reset for 100W without turning the FJ off but not 400W. :) For it to even activate for 400W all excess power (headlights, parking lights, etc.) need to be turned off or the engine revved to engage.
