I'm kind of tempted to try this on my DRZ400 and let my wife drive the truck, anything particularly tricky (lockers and 5.29 gears so traction shouldn't be an issue) or anything that might be an issue on 2 wheels?

As long as its street legal, it should be okay on most of the route. The only issue I can think of would be on the way up to Calcite mine. Parts of that trail are a bit rocky and rutted.
