I so wanted to go on this run.

It was great fun last year and super interesting to me as I love exploring old ruins and relics.
But alas, I'm moving to my newly acquired house and can't afford the down time. Got a couple of guys doing some remodeling on the weekends and need to be there to help out.
Even had to forego my usual 2-weeks in Colorado this time of the year
Hope everyone enjoys the Fest! Don't drink too much at the Sat potluck dinner

One of the mines requires that we walk through 5-10 inch deep water, if you want to see the full mine. Do we have any takers?

Highly recommended!! My girlfriend & I did thus run at BF last year & thoroughly enjoyed it.
Two recommendations for those going:
- closed toe shoes for the short rope section pictured in the first two pics in the original post
- there is also some poison oak on the short hike to the rope section (my girlfriend must have lightly brushed some & had a very mild rash from it last year), so be on the lookout for it and/or wear long pants & possibly long shirt, at least just for that short section
