As far as the hum goes, I never heard it when listening to you using a PC, or using my Android phone, or Android tablet, or through my -L or -R, when I used, or when I use them, unless I connect an external speaker to the Android tablet, or if I connect the Android tablet to the AUX jack of the stereo, then I did, or do, hear the hum, and I just thought that it was the frequency response of the external speaker, or maybe the stereo, or both.DaveK wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 10:18 am Bernie
We really appreciate your participation on the nets, and its great to hear that you have others who like to listen. If they are uncomfortable checking in, we understand. For those who are reluctant to get on the air, they can always check in early. Good luck with your repeater!!!
Regarding the jammer, I wish we could shut them down. The FCC has the responsibility for this task, but their limited resources allow them to only go after the really big abusers. These guys (the jammers) usually don't stay on the air long enough for us to get a fix on their location, although we try. We have caught some and will continue to keep working on this.
And, to all those who are hearing a "hum", we are continuing to sort out this problem.
