Please check me in.

While my friend was getting his ccw, the San Bernardino county sheriff told the group that he wanted every law abiding citizen that passes the background check to have a ccw in his county.
I thought that was interesting.

Great net, thanks Dave and Tom.
When I picked my retirement location, one consideration was CCW rules...

Lastly, a great android app for CCW for around a buck, that can tell you exactly where you are, including state county city and address.
It can show all state laws, updated daily.
It can show nearest range, nearest gun store, and a list of nearby stores and businesses that welcome CCW, as
well as nearby stores that restrict CCW.
its great for traveling, to make sure you dont cross over the state line into another country, (commifornia) for example!

CLOTHING

Clothing is important for concealed carry for two reasons, concealment and quick and safe access. Concealment may seem like an unnecessary concern, but when you keep in mind that it only takes one report to the police that "there is a guy carrying a gun that I can see", to ruin your day, or worse yet, possibly jeopardize your permit. You need to assess all of your daily activities to make sure that your concealment plan will do just that. And, make damn sure that the concealment clothing you select really does the job.

Although not quite as much of a personal mater as holsters, your selection of appropriate clothing will definitely boil down to several factors:
  • what is the best for the location where you plan to conceal your firearm (small of back, hip, IWB/OWB,cross draw or appendix, shoulder, ankle, etc),
  • what works best for the kind of activities in which you engage
  • the type of firearm that you want to conceal.
  • requirements for job apparel
So, knowing that clothing is unique to the wearer, these are some businesses that offer a variety of threads. IF these places don't help, fear not, as an internet search will.

7. 511 Tactical - https://www.511tactical.com/mens/mens-s ... hirts.html

Another area where there is no shortage of information, is tips and recommendations for concealed carry clothing. Don't believe it???? - just do an internet search!!!. Be careful though which batch of this free advice you follow.

Product Spot Light for 02-04-21
Braun Slim Bar LED Light

specs

• Aluminum
• Imported
• Brilliant white LEDs for output up to 390 lumen
• High/low modes for optimal battery life
• Adjustable head can be angled to 180°
• Head swivels 180°
• Includes flashlight option
• Charges from any powered USB port
• Magnetic base

One of the most useful lights I have found in recent years. I find it very handy working on a vehicle to real put some light on the work area. With the magnetic base and the ability to angle it, I can get light hands free.
The very end is a flashlight. This very handy to look into tight narrow slots.

I also used it last weekend on a camping trip. Again the magnetic base went anywhere on the tail gate I needed it to light up the cook area.

About the only thing I thing it could use is a lanyard loop so I can hang it in the tent.

You really need to buy at least two, so you can use one and recharge one. FYI, It has a 18650 2200mah battery. I have not tested the advertised run time. It does seem like a long time. But working on a vehicle can be a problem when it needs a recharge. It uses the same USB as my Samsung phone and so I charged it off the Rig Runner in about 4 hours driving off-road.

Amazon for $40.

KK6CTT for the 02/04/21 online check-in please.

A friend who I had not heard from in years and her story even though a CCW carrier and even though she called ahead and did her "homework" she got caught up in a real problem at a NYC airport on her way out of the city. The other person in the expose had a "regulated capacity magazine." John Stossel expose on this travel trap: Stossel: 08/08/2017, NYC Government Traumatizes Gun Owners https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyHzVsdWBfM

Don't forget the women CCW holders out there and they are coming on strong! Below are recommendations from three different ladies who carry and have their own "favorites."

Woman CCW 01:
o Gun Tote'n Mamas (GTM): https://www.gtmoriginal.com/
o Purse specific features:
  • Left and Right draw
  • Cable in shoulder strap making the cut and run technique very difficult for a "purse snatcher"
o Sportsman's Warehouse: https://www.sportsmans.com/search?q=con ... geSize=100
  • Leggings
  • Jackets
Woman CCW 02:
o Damsel In Defense: https://www.mydamselpro.net/DAZZLINGDEFENSE/
  • Women's "Safety Workshop" or "Situational Awareness Training" (easy to coordinate for a function)
  • LEO women really seem to like these purses
  • Self defense array of products to include pepper spray and stun guns for example
Woman CCW 03:
o IWB JM4: https://jm4tactical.com/
  • Magnetic system that is very handy and versatile
o Crossfire: https://www.crossfiregear.com/
