Thanks for the update Scott. Hey Jesse, it's a day trip man. I think some might want to camp up at sheep. I'm just going out for the day.

FJamming mentioned camping in Sheep Cyn as did a few others in the blue forum thread.

For those going in on Saturday from the San Diego area, I few of us are meeting at the Burger King on the 67 in Lakeside at 8:00 am for a caravan into Borrego Springs. We will be taken the route through Santa Ysabel then down Montezuma Grade.

CB: 4
2M Simp: 147.510
2M Repeater: 146.640 / PL:107.2

We'll switch to Laguna or Monument repeater for our drive into Borrego Springs from Lakeside.

Hey all AB wild flower people, I just wanted to give you a little FYI. This is a very informal gathering and if you don't get their in time or miss us at the circle, just head up to coyote canyon and look for some FJs.

I'm sure there is going to be a lot of other people out there so if you plan to venture up to sheep canyon you may run into bottle-necks in the rock garden. So what.

Did I say this was informal? I'll be monitoring the CB and 2 meter. I really have no plans on where to stop. I'm thinking somewhere up near the first water crossing, somewhere near the last water crossing and the rock garden, then making it up to sheep canyon for more exploration and lunch. If you want to do something else find your buddies and go. No worries. Have fun and be safe out there.

We might try to coordinate the rock garden by having a rig with 2 meter at the top and bottom. This way we can radio any traffic. Another way to approach this is to just see how many people we end up with and put you into some smaller groups to hopefully lesson any bottle necks going up the garden.

We'll figure it out!

I'll be joining up with Ollie at he BK in lakeside at 8am if you are from SD and want to caravan with us.

Hey nice day everyone. I made it to the circle by 10 AM =P I had fun exploring the flower fields and the wheeling. I ended up taking a two hour hike up to the Palm Oasis located in Sheep Canyon with CaliCharlie and Ralphie. It was a great hike. Good times.
