Larry I'm not sure what route you took last year but since 3N14 from Hanna Flats to Big Pine Flats is closed I would take North Shore Road to Van Dusen (3N09) then follow Holcomb Valley Road (3N16) to Pine Flats at night. The Green Valley route Jon mentioned is mapped out below. I ran it last year but during the day, It seems a lot longer than it is cause of all the tight turns. It's close to 10 miles from Hwy 18 to camp. I'm not sure I would want to be running that route coming in late at night but with your laptop and multiple GPS systems it's probably no big deal.

There is a third way to get there. Polique Canyon Rd. It’s between Fawnskin and Van Dussen. Here is a map…
The start is labeled 38-BPCG01on the map
N34 15.896 W116 55.255
The intersection at 3n16 is marked as 38-BPCG03
N34 18.283 W116 54.604
I tried to attach the GPS file but was denied.

One more way to get there - I was in big Bear yesterday and 3N14 is open from Fawnskin to Hanna Flats Camp ground (which is now open). Just before you get to Hanna Flats CG turn right on 3N12 and take it to 3N16. Then turn left on 3N16 to head to Big Pine CG. It might save a little time if you are comming from Runing Springs. 3N14 is still closed from Hanna flats CG to Big Pine CG.

ATTENDEES: PLEASE OPEN AND PRINT THE NEW ATTACHMENTS TO THE BEGINNING OF THIS THREAD. I will have copies with me as well. It's not fun gettin' all formal on your a**es,
but in the long run it will ensure our safety and adequate preparation, which will ensure a great trip.
Also, it would be a good idea to review all the info at the beginning of this thread while you are preparing for the weekend.
If you want to send me what you'll be bringing for the potluck (oh yeah, the potluck!

), I will add it to the post.
See ya'll on the mountain.

I wanted to confirm that I'll be attending unless something unexpected comes up. I have the truck packed and ready to go.
For the pot luck I have pinto beans which I'll doctor up with diced chillies and onions, the fixings for quesodillas, salad and salad dressing.
Also if anyone needs breakfast I have plenty of extra ingredients for scratch buttermilk pancakes. I'm bringing my big stove so I can make about 10 at a time.

Looks like OAUSA will be indemnified against any liability for incidents at BorregoFest but I'm so not sure about SummerFest!

Will you have packets for all drivers containing emergency and contact information of hospitals, etc in the Big Bear area? We had this last year, and while we didn't use it (I think?), it was reassuring to have access to this information. I may still have my packet from last year...
