Ham radio applications

Ham radio is such an important part of our outings that I wanted to include some applications as well.

Magnet bonding

Repair kits

What should you bring
Surface Prep
Fine grit sandpaper or emery cloth
Alcohol swab
Cotton swab
Popsicle sticks

Repair Materials
Textiles- cotton duck, cordura nylon, leather, bug netting,
Rubber sheeting, cordage
Tent pole sleeve, metal or plastic dowel, chopsticks.
Baking powder for C/A’s

Adhesive Chemistries
Blue thread locker
Flexible, Solvent based adhesive
Gel and Thin Super Glue
Epoxy Putty- Water and solvent proof
Non corrosive RTV Silicone
Acrylics- rear view mirror adhesive
Tent/Boot seam sealer
