Those maneuvers were once thought to be physicaly impossible to do in a helicopter.

Check this one out. The rotor arc on this beast was 74 feet in diameter. It had twin turbine engines. I was a crewchief in the "Echo" (CH-53E Super Stallion) model of this aircraft for 8 years with HMH-462 "Heavyhaulers" (AKA: "Screw Crew"). The "Echo"had three turbine engine and an 80' rotor arch.
