Welcome to the world of 95 hp in a 425 lb bike.
The front still had some life but the rear was pretty much toast after 1500 miles. The other reason for the switch was to try a more dirt worthy tire. The stock tires are what I would call A/T... the new ones are more of a M/T. So I have given up some of the road handling to get better dirt performance.

A quick (and quite cold) overnight trip to the Trona area for a ride and to try out the soft luggage. Over all not too bad. I have a few little mounting things to work on and I am not happy about how wide the bags are... but what I have is very workable.
