Yeah, just a quickie trip. The 950 has been a bit dormant lately, so I decided to stretch her legs a little. These photos were taken in the Carrizo Plain.

The Super Enduro got a lighting update. Now the riding day does not have to end at night.


HID vs LED... get ready to RUMBLE!

Over the last couple weekends I have added a light to the underside of the third brake light housing (mounted high on the inside of the rear window) and replaced the stock interior trim panel with a stainless panel from Colombia Overland. Then I added a fold down table to the stainless panel.

Sorry for the crappy pics... I should have some real photos after Memorial Day. (The blue is tape to prevent scratching from removing and refitting the trim panel a bunch of times.)

The SS door trim panel is specific to the Discovery II. The rest of it is homemade.

After a couple minor adjustments... it's mostly done.

In the Discovery, the third brake light is in a housing at the top of the cargo door... I have been wanting to mount a light there for a long time. Rigid now has a line of compact, surface mound LED lights that looked like they might do the trick.



More than enough light for the new shelf.
