The Lexus LX450 is mechanically identical to the FZJ80 Toyota Landcruiser. Most of the differences were cosmetic - lower body cladding, auto a/c system, different wheels, lighter valved shocks, etc. - engine, frame, drivetrain are identical, so, IMO, it's a Landcruiser....THATSALEXUS? wrote:Actually, an LX450 is an 80, it just isn't a Landcruiser (or is itgon2srf wrote: If Hawkeye comes along there will be 3 80's and a Lexus in the group.). Buuuuuuuuut, since you mention it, I will be sporting the 4Runner once again as the Lexus will be sporting fresh new (green) gears

I would like to be included in this run. I have run the road twice before and found this thread as referred by Expedition Portal. I will have my 2 kids with me.
Thanks!

Woohoo! I just got the Special Use Permit emailed to me. Now I just gotta send back a couple signed copies and they'll give me the final permit. Also, the number of vehicles has been capped at 20. So if any more show up... we don't know those guys.
Its snowing there as well!
Mr. Graham:
Please find attached a draft special use permit for your review. Look it
over and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will be in
today and Friday of this week, then off until January 5, 2009.
Once you are satisfied with the permit and its conditions, print two copies
, then sign (page 1) and initial (page 3) each copy and send both to me for
the superintendent's approval. I need original signatures only (no copies,
scans, or faxes). Once the permit is approved, I will scan and email a
copy to you, plus return an original document to you for your records.
Be sure each driver is carrying valid automobile liability insurance during
your event in Mojave National Preserve. You will also need to have a copy
of your permit with you at all times.
If you have any questions, please call or email me.

I should never have typed this. Major customer with audit rights is coming in on the 12th. No way to take Friday off now. I'll get out there someday...brentbba wrote:I'll have to look into the possibility of joining you. I've never run Mojave and want to. Weekend itself has no conflicts right now.

You would only be able to edit the list if you were the OP, a mod or admin but your gold.snowby4 wrote:[listitem][/listitem]
