Whenever you purchase a new vehicle, I recommend having a teenager on hand to held sort out the programming.

VERY nice. The "Creamsickle" looks like it has taken some wonderful styling cues from the classic D90. What off-road adventure will be the first, and

are you ready for one of our long term adventures?

It is a mix between a Gwagen and a real Defender. I am loving all 200mi of it so far.

First trip will be Saline Valley for NYE. Should be a pretty good shake down trip. Am I ready for a longer trip... maaaaayyyyyybbbbeeeee....

Don't worry about a longer trip.

It's really just a joke and doesn't mean anything, I'm sure, but a few of the guys nick-named our trips, "the pin striping KOTH."

But seriously, check out our trip report to the Parashant at: https://forums.oausa.net/viewtopic.php?f=118&t=4148.

What starts down... must go up.

For anyone paying attention, different rack too.

I'm very glad to see you back on the trail, and with a great looking and capable vehicle. As I am discovering, the build-up of a new vehicle sometimes comes close to the purchase price of the vehicle. Just kidding (a little.) And, that doesn't even take into account the time necessary to build, buy, or fabricate all the stuff that needs to make the ride perfect. In your case, it looks like you have a good start.

Where was the maiden voyage?

Not only that... this is a completely new platform so there are no "accepted standards" for any build. This is why I got the truck with the factory winch... even though there is a lot about the factory winch I do not like... the truck has a winch, now I can wait a while to see what bumpers are produced.

I found the sliders I want... unfortunately, the company does not have a US distributer yet, so the cost of shipping is almost the same as the parts!!

We went to Death Valley for NYE. We will be back in the DV area in a few weeks with 3 Defender 110s and 4 other Grenadiers; should be fun. A few 1/2 day and day trips in between...
