thanks ollie for the welcome
my name is dave.i've been a ham since '97 i'm a general class at this time.thinkig hard about upgrading.
but the life of a truck driver doesn't allow me much time for study time.i've been into off roading for longer than i've been radioing.
when i was young and dumb i did it he wrong way and spent more money than i had brains.
now with family life i've been doing it the proper way.
i'm the proud owner of a '96 jp xj.4.5 inch rustys lift wih 31" gy mtrs, safari sorkel, protophab bumpers front and back and a wilderness roof rack from garvin industries.
a stock '92 jp yj,four popper ragtop.
and finally or the moment an '06 h3.which i just did a black out on the grill and installed a warn power plant.
i did have my radio equipmentinstalle in but momma got tired of dealing with the tarheel screwdriver in the recvr mount.
so out came the radio equipment.
i'm looking to get myself a new ride in the near future and will be installing my ft100d into the vehicle with the atas120 to make my life easier.
thanks again for the welcome
