2009-02-08: Anza Borrego

I'm wondering if anybody is up for some exploration this sunday. I gotta few things to do on saturday including picking up a new tire for the Jeep. Im leaning towards Anza Borrego but was also considering Corral Canyon OHV Area or Jacumba. I don't care what the weather will be like, I'll head out rain or shine.
I was thinking of maybe heading out saturday afternoon and camping out (Sheep Canyon) if the weather isn't too bad, but so far it seems like an early start on sunday will be the best bet. What I had in mind was heading up through Coyote Canyon to the primitive camp and then hiking into south fork Sheep Canyon to the base of a sublime 30-foot waterfall- said to be the most beautiful cascade in Anza Borrego. Framed by full-skirted palms both top and bottom and a lush carpet of grass below, its a point of interest well worth checking out. With the rain here I'm hoping its flowing good.
Anyway, that's what I was considering...
