So, what can I say to introduce myself?
I’m a student at a college in the Southeast (the foothills of the Appalachians actually) I love hiking, canoeing, camping, swimming and have tried rock climbing (I am still debating whether I actually like it or not). I’m minoring in Outdoor Leadership and Education, am an officer in our school’s Outdoor Club and look for excuses to be outside all the time (even really lame ones…let me take out the trash…again!) I also enjoy music (I play the piano…not well but I try), reading, writing, photography, shopping (I can’t win… take me into a formal wear store and I will blow my budget, take me into a sports/outdoor store and I will still blow my budget) cooking and hanging with friends. Some random things about me: I speak some French, I can swim better under the water then on top of it, I’m terrified of bees, wasps, hornets or anything in the category (I think I have a good excuse, I have never been stung and several people in my family are allergic and so I avoid them) oh and…hmm I’m allergic to sunflower seeds (strange huh?). I guess that’s about it for now. I can’t wait to get to know people!
