Big Bikes tame the Bull

A whole bunch of bikes of all makes and sizes started at the 15/138 junction and headed over the hill to Pioneer Town. A splinter group decided to make it a bike more interesting and meandered our way around and over to John Bull. I have come to the conclusion that whie the 950SE is
much smaller/lighter than the 1150GS Adv, it is still a very bike bike!
For those of you interested, John Bull is in
great shape.
("Great" is code for very difficult.) But there is a fallen tree completely blocking the trail to 4x4 traffic in one spot. There is still a bit of snow and ice in places as well. The moto is going around the fallen tree, but 4x4 traffic wouldn't be able to get through.
At 8100ft

Over all the area is pretty dry. Just up near the top... maybe at around 7500ft... and up there is a bit of snow and ice. But not much.

I was looking at the photos again. It amazes me how much a photo can flatten out the terrain.
Take this photo:
I remembered it being much more difficult than the photo would lead you to believe. Here are a couple more of other bikes going through the area right in front of my bike in the above photo.

That's good to know. There were fresh tracks under it so it must have just come down... maybe in that last wind storm?

That is probably right One of our wheeling friends ran it 2 weekends ago, so must have fallen in the last week or so
