Surf N Turf
November 6-8, 2009

It's hard to believe but the 2009 Surf n' Turf is just around the corner. Ok, maybe not around the corner but it's good to plan ahead. Although this is a "Landcruiser" event everyone is welcome regardless of your rig. There is no charge (except camping fees) and you don't need reservations. OAUSA has had a small group attend for the last 3 years and it's always a good time so sign up and come join us.

Activities include camping on the beach, wheeling through 1,500 acres of sand dunes, Sand Chef competition, Mob Run, High Noon Poker Run, kids games, scenic inland trails and the historic Pozo Saloon.

Nobody from OAUSA is going to Surf n Turf this year? Oh well I guess I'll have to hang out with the So Cal 80's group again.

Oh, you won't be alone ....I'm planning on going up to Surf N' Turf '09...

It would be great to set up an OAUSA campsite at SNT to "represent"...

so what do you say, folks ??? Who's up for some sun, sand, and fun on the beach ?

I figured you would be there, just trying to drum up some attention to this site. I posted the link on the SoCal 80's site and 5 members signed up and there were dozens responses in a day. I guess they have more time on there hands than the members here.

An OAUSA banner and a ham set up would be cool! Niko's might need a hall pass this year, better let him know the dates.

You going to join the SoCal 80's again...and camp as far away from Sam and Ian as possible?

BTW - other rigs do show up, but they get razed...ask Niko.

Hanging out with you means: good food, good shelter, good fire and good conversation, too bad you are a dude. Haha! We'll have a sign out front directing Ian to other available campsites.

I don't think Nikos cares what anyone thinks, he just has fun and shares everything he has with everyone!
